Kathleen Finlay

Born in Montreal, Kathleen Finlay studied fine arts at York University where she graduated in 1992. She has since established herself in Toronto as an editorial and stock photographer specializing in lifestyle and people photography. A partial client list includes: Canadian Living, Chatelaine, More, Glow, Today’s Parent, CAA Travel, Condé Nast Travel. Her stock photography clients through her agent Masterfile include American Express, Canon, Chase, CIBC, Hallmark, Huggies, HSBC, Ikea, Lufthansa, Microsoft, Nestlé, Pampers, Scotia Bank, Volvo, Walmart.

Since 2000, Kathleen has exhibited her personal work through numerous solo shows at Gallery One in Toronto with Postcards in 2000, followed by Polaroids in 2001, Travelogues in 2003. In 2005, a new series Cirque was exhibited at Gallery One, revealing her longtime fascination with circus performers. Five images from the series were purchased by Cirque du Soleil™ for their private collection and twelve selected works from the series were exclusively exhibited through a Cirque du Soleil ® production of Corteo in 2006 and 2007 in Dubai, USA and Australia.

In 2007, Kathleen began a 3 year project with writer and performer Diana Kolpak on a children’s storybook titled Starfall: A Clown’s Journey to Relight the Stars. The images from the story were exhibited in Toronto at Gallery One in 2008, followed by Rouge Concept Gallery, also in Toronto, in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, Starfall was the feature exhibition at La Tohu in Montreal during the 1st International Circus Festival. In 2011, it was exhibited at Harbourfront Centre as part of the Toronto International Circus Festival. Starfall  has now been published by Red Deer Press.

Chris Frampton

PDN Award-winning photographer Chris Frampton has worked with celebrities such as Sean Paul, Bloc Party and Kenny vs. Spenny, and has been a guest photographer on shows for Slice Network and CBC. His work with Toronto fashion icon Wayne Clarke was the subject of a TV pilot, and he has been a guest speaker at the Toronto Film School.

Chris's photographs have appeared in Complex, YRB, Peace Magazine, The National Post, Tages Anzieger, and many other domestic and international publications, and in advertising for HGTV and The Food Network. As a director and filmmaker Chris has collaborated with clients such as Honda Motorcycles and iTunes, and his short films have been featured on Torontoist and Time.com.

Chris is a former film & television actor, feature writer for the Toronto Star, and owns Flyweight Films, an innovative digital video production company.

Mike Berube

Mike Berube was raised in Toronto, where he is an established photographer. He initially gained recognition for his pictures in 2007 when he was commissioned to cover life in the slums in Kibera, Kenya. In 2008, the images would go on to receive recognition from world press photo. Mike’s distinct style of emotional, humanistic photography has characterized his work since. Mike's photographs explore themes of human, social and economic conflict on local and international scales.

Jordan Nahmias

Jordan Nahmias is a Toronto-based lawyer. His legal practice focuses mainly on corporate, entertainment and media matters. Prior to establishing his own practice, Jordan spent his summer and articling years with Goodmans LLP, one of Canada's largest law firms. His experience there provided him with insight and working knowledge in all areas of corporate and commercial law, and a view into the mechanics of business-related legal matters, both large and small.

An avid photographer, Jordan also owns and manages his own photography company. Having found his knack for photography through travel and photojournalistic work, Jordan took a year out of the legal world to focus exclusively on understanding and building a photography business. In addition to running and managing a legal practic,e Jordan is also commissioned for portrait work around Toronto, and occasionally exhibits his artistic work as well. Jordan has also gone on to serve on various boards, notably as co-director of Open Roof Films Entertainment, a not-for-profit organization specializing in showcasing International and Canadian independent music and film. His contributions also include involvement with vaarious charity and ommunity organizations for the arts.

Charla Jones

Charla Jones is a Canadian photojournalist currently based in Toronto. She worked as a staff photographer for both of Canada's largest newspapers, The Toronto Star, from 2002-2007, and, The Globe and Mail, from 2007-2010. Since then, she has been based in New Delhi, India, and Istanbul, Turkey, working as a freelance editorial photographer in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Charla has won numerous local and international awards for her photography and multimedia projects. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Observer, and Stern.

Until recently, Heather Morton authored the popular blog HMAb which receives over 20,000 unique visitors a month and encourages interesting discussion about all matters having to do with photography in the commercial world. Heather is also a freelance Art Buyer working in Toronto, she consults with photographers and is a regular lecturer on commercial photography. She teaches at Sheridan Institute of Technology.
