    The Historic Distillery District is the ideal setting for wedding and portrait photography. With cobblestone roads, bricks and stones that have weathered more than a century, nothing shows more character and romance in downtown Toronto.

  • RAIN OR SHINE

    Don't worry about the weather on that most important day by optionally renting the Pikto Studio. With lighting and grip equipment on hand, you will rest assured that no matter what nature dictates, you will get the shoot done. Special pricing is available when pre-booking.

  • THE HISTORY

    Established in 1859, the Gooderham and Worts Distillery site is the largest and best preserved collection of Victorian Industrial Architecture in North America. By the late 19th century, Gooderham and Worts was the largest distillery in the world. After WW1 and prohibition, the company was merged with Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd., and the efforts shifted to developing the successful Canadian Club brand at another plant. In the 90's the site became the number one film location in Canada.

Shooting at the Distillery District requires an official Photo Permit. Now you can get these permits exclusively through Pikto. The Permit fee is included in Packages that are available below or in-store during regular business hours.
