Andrew B. Myers
In this eclectic grouping of images, Andrew B. Myers explores elements of pop culture and near scientific visual curiosities accumulated over the past six months. This series is the opposite of anything documentarian about photography, instead preconceived and neatly organized, each detail decided upon before the fact. Using a highly contemporary process, these images often draw equally upon futuristic notions as nostalgic ones. Each image tends to work independently as a pun or tiny, self-contained narrative, often ironic or counterintuitive. Andrew's distinct use of colour, composition and light maintains itself throughout.
